As of January 15th, 2014, the Geneitrack team retired our legacy Family Safety mobile app. Although we have loved providing a family safety solution to you and your families, we realized that the product has become too narrow for our mission to “Help families stay connected and safe”.
We are feverishly working on a brand new solution that we hope you and your families will enjoy. More to come in a few weeks.

We are excited to announce the launch of the Android Genietrack Family Locator v3.1, the next generation of the Genietrack service on the Android platform! Over the last 6 months we have received a great deal of invaluable feedback from Genietrack users like you and we have been hard at work implementing the key suggestions in this release.
In v3.1, we have made numerous improvements to our service, including:
- Redesigned user interface and flow
- Improved battery life
- Enhanced web app and browser navigation
- Streamlined and improved SMS and email alerts content
- Added social features like Facebook, Twitter, Google+
- Added capability to upload images
With the Android Genietrack Family Locator v3.1, we believe we have developed a market leading solution that allows parents to enjoy piece of mind about their family’s safety. As such, Genietrack v3.1 is a paid service, competitively priced to bring parents the most value for their money. The new app is available to download for free in the Android Play store. In order to activate and use the service there will be a $4.99 monthly fee. The fee can be paid conveniently from within the application, using your Android Play account. There are no contracts are required. If you choose to cancel your subscription, you will only be charged through the month in which you cancel.
For those of you, who may have family members or friends that are on the iOS platform, we are currently finalizing the development of v3.1 on iOS. We plan to release v3.1 on iOS in the near future. The iOS application will feature the analogous improvements and will be similarly priced. Please stay tuned for more information.

A few weeks ago, Genietrack surpassed 1,000 subscribers!
This is exciting news, especially since we are planning to launch a new and improved Genietrack Family Locator service in the next 4-6 weeks. Please stay tuned.
A couple of months ago Genietrack quietly passed a major milestone – we reached 500 users. Genietrack team didn’t have a celebration or any special acknowledgement of the event. We are simply too busy for that. However, I wanted to stop for a minute and reflect on this major milestone. We started the company in early 2011 with a desire to build the best family safety service on the market that provides busy families with a peace of mind. Ambitions yet doable.
We released our closed Alpha release in June of 2011, testing the preliminary service with a handful of friends and family with no advertising whatsoever. I remember checking our Support Inbox one day and seeing an email from Lynda, a mom of two teenagers residing in Atlanta, GA. Lynda asked a very important question – “How do I use your service?”. This simple question let our team know two things: 1) Somebody miraculously found our Alpha service and cares enough to learn more; 2) Genietrack service back in June of 2011 was not as intuitive as we all thought. It was time to get back to work.
Cailey was customer number 500 back in March of 2012. I want to thank both Lynda (Genietrack’s 1st customer) and Cailey (Genietrack’s 500th customer) for your continued support. As we continue to grow and scale up, we always remember our humble beginnings and the “Help Me” email from Lynda in June of 2011.
It is very exciting to be communicating with our current and prospective customers. In our very first blog post, I wanted to cover Genietrack’s mission and why our company exists.
